In 2018, Lost Woods Whiskey was founded in Minnesota by local outdoorsman Tom Schaeppi. The brand grew from Tom's passion for bringing people together in the great outdoors to spark conversation and protect the environment.

"I have always wanted to evolve my work into a give back entity to support my passion for the outdoors and the environment. For five years I have stayed focused on the goal of creating the best human-centered American Single Malt Whiskey company that would be known for an exceptional tasting whiskey as well as a relentless approach to contributing to finding solutions to the climate crisis. The dream is finally being realized."
